CANOEING TRIPS ON THE EUROPEAN UNION BORDER
Canoeing is a great opportunity for active leisure. Waters of Łęczyńsko – Włodawski Lake District are very attractive area for both tourists and naturalists. Particularly noteworthy are swamp forests. The environment specification is conducive to existence of rare, legally protected animals: beaver and mud turtle. There are also numerous game animals: elk, deer, roe deer, wild boar, badger. World of birds is rich and diversified, particularly group with water mud habitats. There are few different ways for sightseeing the Łęczyńsko – Włodawskie Lake District. One of them, unique is to overcome the canoe trail over Włodawka and Bug River. During the active recreation in a canoe it is worth to take some time to explore the most interesting monuments of the region, among which are: beautiful Zamoyski hunting palace in Adampol, numerous monuments of wooden folk architecture, churches and orthodox churches.
